Hmm, I had completely failed to notice that the generated html was
committed in the git tree. This is a very bad idea - messy history,
merging branches on the docs will be a pain and means doing the usual
git-format-patch | git-send-mail/git-send-imap breaks as you've seen.

David, this seems to have been added in 8baf04e5, accident or deliberate?
