Come back from suspend on a Dell Inspiron 1525 does not work

Hello,

I'm trying to use gnome-power-manager in order to suspend my Dell
Inspiron 1525 laptop. The suspend command seems to work. However, when
I press the power button to turn the laptop on again the screen does
not display anything (it remains black). I see that hard disk activity
occurs, and the power light indicator stops to blink. The only problem
seems to be the screen one.

I followed instructions on [1] and added many combinations of the
following quirks: dpms_on, vbe_post, vbestate_restore, s3_bios,
s3_mode. The quirks were detected successfully, as the results of
"lshal | grep quirk" showed to me. However none of them seemed to
cause any effect.

I'm using the intel Xorg driver.

Does anyone knows what else I can try ? I'm willing to help to
contribute by making this laptop model to "just work" by adding the
required info to hal-info if I have success.
