Usefulness of 30-keymap-module-asus-laptop.fdi ?

Hi,

while checking patches in our hal-info package, I found a patch where we
disable fdi in 30-keymap-module-asus-laptop (because of Mandriva bug
https://qa.mandriva.com/show_bug.cgi?id=39669 ).

After discussing with our kernel hacker, it appears this file has been
merged in hal-info git repository in september 2007 but it needed some
kernel patches (in
http://git.nicolast.be/?p=acpi4asus.git;a=shortlog;h=acpi_keys_to_input_layer_no_internal_mapping ) which were never merged upstream.

Fortunately, future upstream kernel (probably 2.6.30) will handle
multimedia keys correctly (see
http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/lenb/linux-acpi-2.6.git;a=commit;h=034ce90a8d1051deaeb31bae7f26ff1440a5b988 , we had a similar patch in Mandriva kernel for quite some time).

So, I'd suggest we drop this fdi, since it is not useful for anybody and
might cause issues when kernel patch land upstream.
