hi all,<br>can anyone tell me what does this file hald/linux2/apm.c do ? after goin thru it, i came to know know that it reads the gconf key values and also writes to the keys by set_string and get_string.<br>does the hal aslo support apmd as it supports acpid by reading the /proc/acpi/events and performing the required action against it.<br>does it also read the /dev/apmbios to check the apm events ? <br>please reply..<br><br><br><p>&#32;
