The Chandrabindu</x> (U+981) is essentially a diacritic while the Ishwar
(U+09FA) is used at the start of the name of a deceased person (pronounced as
'Ishwar' for males and 'Ishwari' for females). While the latter occurs at the
start of a word, the Chandrabindu</x> requires a preceding character to be present
in a word it is used in.

Hope this helps

regards
Runa

--
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/User:Runab
_______________________________________________
HarfBuzz mailing list
HarfBuzz@lists.freedesktop.org
http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/harfbuzz

--
Dr. Somnath Chandra
Scientist-D
Dept. of Information Technology
Govt. of India
Tel:+91-11-24364744,24301811
Fax: +91-11-24363099
e-mail :schandra@mit.gov.in
