As the left bearing of the glyph is added to the current pen x position as an offset to render the glyph image. Do we have to add the x_offset instead of adding the left bearing?<br><br>How is x_offset used during the rendering of the glyph.<br>

</div>In my understanding, the offsets shouldn't be interpreted like that.<br>
They move the glyph position, but do not influence its metrics or advance.<br>
