<span style="color:rgb(34,34,34);font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px;background-color:rgb(255,255,255)">I am working on a font editor (</span><a href="http://birdfont.org/" target="_blank" style="color:rgb(17,85,204);font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px;background-color:rgb(255,255,255)">http://birdfont.org</a><span style="color:rgb(34,34,34);font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px;background-color:rgb(255,255,255)">). I wrote a small piece of code to do kerning with the pair adjustment subtable in GPOS, I will write code to parse it soon.</span><div style="color:rgb(34,34,34);font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px;background-color:rgb(255,255,255)">
<br></div><div style="color:rgb(34,34,34);font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px;background-color:rgb(255,255,255)">I will probably use Harfbuzz for things like preview of fonts and I believe the editor will be much more complete if I could extract information from Harbuzz rather than writing a new GPOS parser. The values does not need to be exactly the same as in the font table but some functions to obtain kerning information could help me a lot.</div>
