While performing tests I got evidence of glError by activating EGL logging, in each and every case of font artifacts I get the following indication in logcat: 10-18 23:21:25.597 3514 3605 D libEGL : [glTexSubImage2D] 0x500 I checked that the 0x500 error was systematic by loggin 10-12 hazi font events and the timestamps do match in all cases.
