<pre>I can confirm the issue on an i3-3225 (Intel HD4000) with the latest drivers
from xorg-edgers (on Ubuntu 12.10).
The scripts provided by Oyvind seem to help a bit, but when switching from 50Hz
to 24Hz, the settings are lost and I have to set them again.
Please fix this issue as it is crucial for appliances like HTPCs!</pre>
