There is no patch for this issue upstream yet. And the less-aggressive-shrinker
is not the forerunner of potential workaround patches. (The fixed version of
#63 is a better choice since it actually fixes a real bug and has a side-effect
of also reducing the likelihood of triggering this hang.)
