<pre>Okay, I'm sorry about all the posts, but I forgot there was something else I
wanted to point out.
When using the invert_brightness parameter, the backlight is restored after a
suspend/resume cycle.
When NOT using the invert_brightness parameter (booting to a dark screen and
then turning on the backlight at ../intel_backlight/brightness), it is not
restored after suspend/resume. I have to manually turn it back on myself.
So I take it this must mean the system always sets the backlight to the value
in max_brightness, regardless of what was set before.</pre>
