i'm testing with kernel:
linux-image-3.8.0-0-generic 3.8.0-0.3
i386 Linux kernel image for version 3.8.0 on 32 bit x86 SMP
When starting a amd64 bit kernel this is not a problem, only when booting a
32bit kernel on a 64bit efi firmware then it gets triggered.
