This bug here is about snb, which uses rather different fdi link training code. So there's a bit chance that you have a different bug (but similar symptoms). Can you please file a separate issue for your machine? Also, since it sounds like some older drm-intel-next tree worked for you, but more recent ones are broken: Can you please attempt to bisect where this regressions has been introduce?
