<pre>Also interesting is that the DVI output is not detected by the kernel during
boot. In fact, I think I am back to my second hypothesis that since it is not
detected during boot and so not setup for fbcon/inteldrmfb, it is not passed
onto X and X ignores it as well. It is detected later when somebody triggers an
output probe, but they choose to ignore it as well (i.e. do not extend the
desktop to the new output.)</pre>
