(The log files should explain if the image rendering were aborted for any reason etc.) Ok, I have the same checksums as you. But nothing that corresponds to eog. Please do try to generate another debug log of eog misrendering and check that the last messages in the log are X shutting down (e.g. Server terminated successfully. Closing log file).
