<pre>As for the lag, I can do my best to demonstrate that it is not the fault of the
intel driver or intel-virtual-output... I think if we add timestamps to the
debug, we should be reasonably confident where the rate-limiting step is. (For
-intel there are kernel patches to enable userptr would help somewhat, as would
a very recent kernel, 3.12 or 3.13.)</pre>
