I tried the patch agains 3.13-rc4 which should fix DP. However, on my device I
can't boot Linux at all using this patch (undocked!). I patched a mainline
3.13-rc7 on my Arch Linux. Without the patch, it boots fine, but with the patch
the kernel boot freezes just before the switch to the Intel FB.
Note: Before I even run the patched kernel the first time, I upgraded to latest
BIOS (2.17) and also made the Firmware upgrade of the internal DP to VGA
converter (see
http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.page?DocID=DS038203).
Especially the second one in combination with the patch might trigger my
freeze...
Do you did this firmware upgrade?
