I'm not sure. Either it's a PEBKAC/feature or a bug.
I think it's caused by you omitting the connector name in your video=
parameter, which leads to connector ->fill_modes() callback for display port,
which in turn fails because there is no monitor in the DP.
Please try with video=VGA-1:800x1280@75e.</pre>
