        <pre>Is there any suggested workaround? You mentioned something about compositing --
would running xcompmgr "fix" it? So far, chrome + llvmpipe = rock solid, chrome
+ i965 = hangs. Chrome most likely does different things when it's using i965
(like that OML_sync_control thing).

Is it worth trying to not do the scanline waits but instead wait for the whole
frame, or is that a big power saving?</pre>
