Yes. The hardware itself has never supported dual-link; so it would take quite
a bit of work to retrofit. ;-)
(Instead of adopting dual-link, Intel developed a higher bandwidth connector,
DisplayPort - unfortunately the world has been slow jumping on the bandwagon.)</pre>
