<pre>Try a few other compositing managers.
1. Confirm it works with bare X.
2. Try compiling xf86-video-intel with --enable-tear-free and use bare X.
3. Confirm it fails with gnome-session
4. Try xcompmgr
Now try rendercheck -t blend,composite -f a8r8g8b8 in the 4 different modes.</pre>
