You proposed changes do not work here with LXDE. I am testing with a HDMI
monitor and a VGA. If I place HDMI right-of VGA, it works even without the
XMoveWindow call.
If I place VGA right-of HDMI it fails. The application window is placed on VGA
instead of HDMI and has wrong resolution. It has the HDMI resolution.
I get the same failing behavior regardless of how I open XBMC. I tried from a
terminal opened on HDMI (mouse also on HDMI) and via a remote terminal.
This odd behavior shows for all applications. Every app I open via LXDE menu is
placed on the VGA.
Fluxbox and Openbox show the same issue which make me think it is not a WM
problem.
