Problem occurs with no patches installed, with just Malcoms' patch only, and with only commit f0d3dad3 reversed. Trouble free with Malcolms' patch and commit f0d3dad3 reversed. Looks like I should educate myself a bit more - some of the code I see is very hard to follow and sometimes I wonder what in the hell was that? I'm an old microcoder and OS hacker; I never really had to get too involved with the graphics side of it.
