It seems clear as to what the trigger is, so no bisect necessary.
Can you reset src/sna/kgem.c (i.e. reenable userptr) and compile with
./configure --enable-debug=full, reproduce and attach the Xorg.0.log (you will
need to compress it!).</pre>
