I'm not getting the kernel backtrace any longer with
8b4216f91c7bf8d3459cadf9480116220bd6545e but its still not actually working any
better.
If I am reading the dmesg correctly it appears that the driver is flapping DP-1
between "DP-1 on pipe C [CRTC:28]" and NOCRTC eg "[CONNECTOR:40:DP-1] to
[NOCRTC]"
This would seem to correlate with what I was seeing with my script sometimes
working and sometimes claiming that there was no crtc for the dp connection.
Attaching a new debug dmesg.
