I ran the 4 commands here: <a href="http://ubuntuhandbook.org/index.php/2015/02/upgrade-linux-kernel-3-19-ubuntu-14-04/">http://ubuntuhandbook.org/index.php/2015/02/upgrade-linux-kernel-3-19-ubuntu-14-04/</a> for my particular system and restarted and had the new kernel running with no visible differences.
