<<reboot>>
shturm@kodi:~$ DISPLAY=:0 xrandr -q | pastebinit
<a href="http://paste.ubuntu.com/10512239/">http://paste.ubuntu.com/10512239/</a>
Interestingly, setting the same mode twice kills the sound!
Look:
<<reboot>>
shturm@kodi:~$ DISPLAY=:0 xrandr --output HDMI1 --mode 0xae
shturm@kodi:~$ speaker-test -D plughw:0,3 -r 44100
... sound ON ...
shturm@kodi:~$ DISPLAY=:0 xrandr --output HDMI1 --mode 0xae
shturm@kodi:~$ speaker-test -D plughw:0,3 -r 44100
... sound OFF ...
shturm@kodi:~$ dmesg | pastebinit
<a href="http://paste.ubuntu.com/10512268/">http://paste.ubuntu.com/10512268/</a>
<<reboot>>
shturm@kodi:~$ DISPLAY=:0 xrandr --output HDMI1 --mode 0x48
shturm@kodi:~$ speaker-test -D plughw:0,3 -r 44100
... sound ON ...
shturm@kodi:~$ DISPLAY=:0 xrandr --output HDMI1 --mode 0x48
shturm@kodi:~$ speaker-test -D plughw:0,3 -r 44100
... sound OFF ...
shturm@kodi:~$ dmesg | pastebinit
