FWIW we dropped the "preliminary" flag for Broadwell in v3.14 [1], although
surely it's not perfect at v3.14. I do not know about the Broadwell support in
the userspace components in Jessie; I presume that's where the issue is.
Closing the kernel bug as invalid. Thanks for the report, and please reopen if
you are having problems with the kernel.
