I tried running the following xrandr commands again to see what would happen
this time:
$ xrandr --verbose -q -d :0 --output DP1 --off
crtc 2: disable
$ xrandr --verbose -q -d :0 --output DP1 --gamma 1.0:1.0:1.0 --auto --right-of
HDMI2
screen 0: 5760x1080 1525x286 mm 95.92dpi
crtc 2: 1920x1080 60.0 +3840+0 "DP1"
It displays at least for the moment, but is in some weird very low resolution
mode but claims to be 1920x1080, it looks blocky/blurry instead of the way it
should.
