First of all make sure you are using Fedora 22 kernel version 4.0.2-300 or
newer and that you do NOT have any backlight related options like
"acpi_backlight=vendor" on your kernel commandline.
If things do not work with F-22 kernel >= 4.0.2-300 without any special kernel
commandline options, try
booting F-22 kernel >= 4.0.2-300 with "video.use_native_backlight=1" added to
the kernel commandline.
After booting with "video.use_native_backlight=1" please do:
ls /sys/class/backlight
You should then only see "intel_backlight" there, if this fixes things please
run the following from a terminal:
grep '.*' /sys/class/dmi/id/*_* 2> /dev/null > dmi.log
And copy and paste the output here so that a quirk for your model can be added
to the kernel.</pre>
