I'm new to this report but am having the same issue on a Pioneer SC-LX57 and a
system running under kernel 4.0.1.
Thanks very much for the patch. I have tried it and it unfortunately does not
work in the sense that it does not appear to have done any harm but the same
behaviour is apparent - no audio at 44.1kHz with refresh rate > 30Hz.
Although I am still testing, it is possible that the patch has solved one
intermittent issue I was having involving audio stuttering and an excessive
number of broken pipes - I will report back on this.
In the meantime, I am set up to run/compile/test whatever - just let me know
what I can do to help.</pre>
