<pre>Your machine doesn't use that allocate_va_range(), the only way that could have
had an impact then is if the bind flags are inaccurate - or if there is a
missing mb().
How confident are you in that bisect result? Can you run for a few days on the
preceding commit and see if the error occurs?</pre>
