I went from the video freezing every few days to it happening now only twice in over a month. The only applications I run on a daily basis are Gnome-Shell of course, Evolution, Firefox, GKrellm, and TEA text editor. Everything else such as Fetchmail, Procmail, Postfix and so on don't use the video driver that I'm aware of.
