        <pre>Running the newest drm-intel git kernels show bug running Synmark2 OglDrvState
in older Dell XPS12 machine (Haswell i3-4010U).

Symptom is that the test runs; kernel and X think they are in 640x480 mode
(screenshot taken is 640x480), but physically display is distorted and
1920x1080 mode.

Bisecting the problem found commit

    drm/i915: skip modeset if compatible for everyone.

    This is done as a separate commit, to make it easier to revert
    when things break.
