Hi Rodrigo,
I've tested the psr-ivan-v7 branch, it works well (even with enable_fbc=1) !
I wanted to work a little bit with that kernel to see how power consumption
would improve so I compiled the same kernel but with the debug patch reverted
(commit cf6e97774936be7e47eb2c0805b14db6412c14ae)
But then, with this kernel:
- with enable_psr=0 at boot : OK
- with enable_psr=1 at boot: intermittent freezes like described before. The
problem doesn't go away when I later set enable_psr to 0
(/sys/module/i915/parameters/enable_psr).
I could consistently reproduce the problem.
I see the debug patch also commented something related to timing. I'll try to
keep only those comments and remove the verbose stuff and see if the problems
goes away.
