I found - i915.i915_enable_rc6=1 i915.lvds_downclock=1 i915.semaphores=1 i915.i915_enable_fbc=1. rc6=1 seems to be known to add instability, perhaps the freq cap offset that. I've stripped the args (except boot, splash, quiet) will be running new tests.
