Hello,
I am the original reporter. I have rebuilt most of my stack. I am currently
using Xorg tar.gz files from Dec 21 2015 and am using the latest git pull of
the intel driver at Dec 24 2015, 00:08 (-800) (I'm new to git so I hope I
provided that correctly). I am running kernel 4.3.3
dmesg:
[drm] stuck on render ring
[drm] GPU HANG: ecode 2:0:0x41bdffc1, in Xorg [4081], reason: Ring hung,
action: reset
[drm] GPU hangs can indicate a bug anywhere in the entire gfx stack, including
userspace.
[drm] Please file a _new_ bug report on bugs.freedesktop.org against DRI ->
DRM/Intel
[drm] drm/i915 developers can then reassign to the right component if it's not
a kernel issue.
[drm] The gpu crash dump is required to analyze gpu hangs, so please always
attach it.
[drm] GPU crash dump saved to /sys/class/drm/card0/error
drm/i915: Resetting chip after gpu hang
[drm:i915_reset [i915]] *ERROR* Failed to reset chip: -19
Will attach error log shortly.
