Dear All,

I am trying to get pbuffers working on a base Fedora 11 installed system
with Intel GM45 integrated graphics.
Glxinfo tells me glx sever is version 1.2 and I believe pbuffers require
at least glx 1.3 to work.

I've downloaded the Intel2009Q1 software and am trying to update to the
latest drivers. My system config
Is as follows:

 kernel 2.6.29.4-167.fc11.x86_64 (I also have 2.6.31.rc2 installed)

I have not yet tried to patch my kernel or update libdrm or anything
except for building the
Graphics driver.

It is not clear to me if I need to update mesa or libdrm since I seem to
have newer stock versions installed.
It is not clear if I need to update xorg and patch my kernel.

I was able to compile the graphics driver (intel_drv.so) in my current
environment, but when I tried to use it
My system locks up. Restoring the stock driver makes my system work
again.

My two key questions are:

1. Will this driver support pbuffers?
2. What exactly do I need to update to use this new driver and what is
the correct sequence to install the correct
Components and patches. Unfortunately, the instructions I following on
http://intellinuxgraphics.org/install.html
Lead to difficulties...

Thanks for your help.
