Thanks, I will try this next week when I have access to the machine. I
see that Eric already added my patch, so I expect it to work, but I
will anyway give you the new log. BTW there is no notification in the
logs if a quirk is triggered, wouldn't that be useful?

At least in the non-KMS case, the lid detection using
SWF14_LID_SWITCH_EN was not reliable. But I have no acpi lid button,
so if that is what is probed for, it should work.
