[Intel-gfx] Thumbnails too bright in KDE 4.5 RC1

Hi all,

I just upgraded KDE to 4.5 RC1 and some desktop effects (window thumbnails, 
present windows) no longer work. In particular, window previews are too 
bright. More info here:

It looks like this is due to the introduction of the Lanczos filter in kwin, 
which is apparently not well supported by the intel graphics stack. I hit this 
bug both on my laptop (with GM965) and my desktop (with G45) using xorg-server 
1.8.1.902, mesa 7.8.2 and xf86-video-intel 2.11.0/2.12.0 (with pageflipping 
disabled).

On another desktop having an ATI X300 card and using the open source radeon 
driver, window previews are correctly shown.

I hope someone could look into this issue. I am of course available to perform 
the tests you may require.
