I just came home ready to test my compiled kernel but when I read this
message I thought I should download your latest source files and
recompile. It was not so simple but I think I managed (by the way,
what's the simple command to update my local copy?).

while my new kernel compiles: is there a simple way to check I'm
testing your latest changes and not the previous version?
