The issue appears the the propagation of the semaphore values is a
little sticky, even after the use of LRI.

On that bug we have a couple of ideas we need feedback on, so please do
try compiling a kernel with either the write-write or write-read
patches. Or if you just want to have a stable machine, set
i915.semaphores=0.
