Please confirm these:

- you have a backlight issue that gets fixed by acpi_backlight=vendor
- adding acpi_backlight=vendor causes suspend/resume issues
- you do not have acpi_osi= parameter set

Please post a dmesg exhibiting the suspend/resume issue. The launchpad
attachments don't indicate any problems afaict.
