<br></div><div>Some errors happen with following video card, related to agpgart, i think.</div><div><b>VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Core Processor Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 18)</b></div><div><b><span style="font-weight:normal">To help understand, follows in attachment output of many commands (dmesg, lspci, ...). </span></b></div>
<div>Follows too some photos where the screen appears vertically sliced (not happens in all monitors). </div>

<div><font face="arial, sans-serif"><span style="line-height:16px">I have tried to compile others versions of kernel***, with agpgart built-in and as a module.</span></font></div><div><font face="arial, sans-serif"><span style="line-height:16px">Tried to compile intel drivers (i915, ...) built-in and as modules but the error above continues appearing.</span></font></div>
<div><font face="arial, sans-serif"><span style="line-height:16px">It seems that agpgart don't can identify or probe the card correctly.</span></font></div><div><font face="arial, sans-serif"><span style="line-height:16px">By consequence of fail in agpgart, i915 loads fail too. So the kernel loads the vesa driver (i think)</span></font></div>
<div><font face="arial, sans-serif"><span style="line-height:16px">and causes malfunction of video card (low resolution, screen sliced, not set monitor frequency, ...).</span></font></div>
<div><font face="arial, sans-serif"><span style="line-height:16px"><br></span></font></div></div><div><span style="font-family:arial, sans-serif;line-height:16px">*** I tried some versions released since the application of following patch (Linux 2.6.34?), even last stable (3.0.1).</span></div>

<div>In versions without this patch ( < 2.6.34 ), dmesg output:</div><div><b>... *ERROR* Cannot initialize the agpgart module.</b></div><div>So, patch works fine. Agpgart fails in somewhere.</div>
