Environment:
Ubuntu Dapper Flight 4 : Automake 1.9.6 , Autoconf 2.59

While running autogen.sh to build LDTP, the script fails to complete, with the
following error:

      checking for GLIB2... yes
      checking for CSPI_1_0... yes
      checking for po_file_read_v2 in -lgettextpo... yes
      configure: creating ./config.status
      config.status: creating src/Makefile
      config.status: creating python/Makefile
--->  config.status: error: cannot find input file: Makefile.in 

and stops.
