Not at all dead...
It's just hibernating because I'm busy with work and such.
It's capable of burning audio, data, and mixed CDs in SAO and DAO modes,
so it's not like it was abandoned in a totally useless state.
Also, others have written ruby and python bindings for it (I've still not
posted the url to the python bindings on the web page. I'll get that up
