If some would read logs, they would find interesting quotes that some turned it off awaiting a lot of nonsense in a special thread. There are people on the list who like to discuss things and love to hear themself speak and more want to proof there intelligence.On the list there are very often a lot of things said without reaching an consens. That scares people really off!<br>
<br></div><div>One thing is sure if somebody is in need to reach here somebody, he has something called problem. It's very interesting for me to see that some make decisions here that are not there concern. Its up to the sender to decide which communication channel he likes to use, which person he like to help him with his problem. Not to somebody else.<br>

that some might use that address to discuss sensitive or private matters which<br>
should certainly not end up on a mailing list that gets archived on the web.<br>

2) Only a small-ish circle of people receives these mails. Pros and cons are<br>
the opposites of the ones mentioned for 1).<br></div></div></blockquote></div></blockquote><div><br></div></div><div>There is no "guarantee" that someone actually reads an email at any given address. It’s up to the reader.</div>

It’s already something to cope with the Create ML and the libre-graphics-meeting ML, without mentioning the private emails of everyone. Plus IRC and the Website. Don’t we have all the possible means to communicate, publicly or privately? Imo, this covers thoroughly the grounds on which we play!</div>
