click the button to initiate a modal dialog

if a modal dialog is active, the menus remains active, leading to potential
inconsistency

the activre window and toolbar is not active but the main menu remain active as
they are detached to the top level classic Mac Os menu bar

the menus remain fully fonctional

a modal dialog should not allow to play with the menus

works correctly for windows and linux
