Summary: last column of the table going outside page limit
while saving in docx
Product: LibreOffice
Version: LibO 3.3.2 release
Platform: x86 (IA32)
OS/Version: Linux (All)
Status: NEW
Severity: critical
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
ReportedBy: drsoumalya-ray at yahoo.co.in
Created an attachment (id=50034)
--> (https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=50034)
all the 3 documents along with the screenshots are attached
using libreoffice 3.3.2 writer,created a page.entered a 3by3 table.in the top
left corner,wrote "howdy" and in the bottom right corner wrote "why is it going
out?".
after that,pressed "ctrl+s" and saved the file ( FILESAVE ).naturally its saved
into .odt.then pressed "shift+ctrl+s" and choose the option of .doc & .docx
file format.
then double clicked the 3 documents separately to open them through
libreoffice--
.odt opened normally(as was saved-all 3 columns are visible)
.doc opened with all 3 columns
.docx created the problem
when it was opened,the last column was outside the page limit.and not visible
at all.
reported the problem to the user mailing list.they were also able to reproduce
the problem.interestingly tom davies from the mailing list,told me that the
docx file was opening normally in microsoft office.
meaning that,docx created by libreoffice could not be opened properly by
libreoffice itself but by microsoft office.
i am attaching the files & screenshots-please have a look at them.hopefully
this FORMATTING problem could be solved easily.
thanks in advance
PS. i am using ubuntu lucid (10.04) and the desktop is gnome 2.
