I didn't know the "update style" option (this is my problem with open/libre
office: im(h)o everything is hidden in windows that lead to more windows in
which one would find a button which drops down a list of super hidden top
secret options. I know I overdo it, but I'm not used to open/libre office.)

Now I know the option, I must say that I like it: it's pretty handy.
However, it's not what I meant with an "edit style" option in the styles combo
box. What I meant was the 'edit' option (I don't use an English UI) you get
when you right click on a style in the "Styles and Formatting" window. That
option should only be 2 clicks away for styles to be 'user friendly' and it is,
I just didn't know I could access it from the context menu. My problem seems to
be solved already.

Maybe it wouldn't be such a bad idea to put the "Update style" option in
"Styles combo box", instead of what I suggested.
